Nepali cyclists win cross country race in India

Nepali cyclist Ajay Pandit has won the eight-day cross country cycling event held in Himachal state of India.While completing the 472 km arduous track, Pandit set a new record of completing the 22 km uphill route from Shamshar to Jalori Pass in 1 hour 49 minutes and 11 second. Pandit also won uphill and downhill ride of the event.Similarly, Ramesh Chandra from Indian Army finished second while Narayan Gopal Maharjan of Nepal grabbed the third spot.In the women category, Nirjala Tamrakar of Nepal won the first position followed by Monika of India who finished second.
