The first NTY 2011 promotional programme was held in Kathmandu on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Minister for Tourism and Civil Aviation (MoTCA), Hisila Yami said that the government is focusing on improving tourism infrastructure like hotels and airports. The government has decided to grant free visa to those tourists who visit Nepal for the second time in order to make Nepal Tourism Year 2011 (NTY 2011) a grand success. The campaign's target is to bring in at least one million international tourists to Nepal by the year 2011.
